4-250 2-8x22RAFT Aquaponic System

Description
The 4-250 2-8x22RAFT  is great for home food production or even a part-time commercial operation.  The 4-fish tanks make staggered fish harvests easy and the large raft tanks is ideal for home food production, with ample amounts of extra produce to sell at a farmer's market. 

The plants are grown in the connected raft tank, a popular method of soilless plant production.  The raft system is a proven method of aquaponic growing with a good output of fish and plants. 

Configuration:
The main culture components include 4 - 250 gallon fish tanks, 2- 8' x 22' raft tanks for growing plants and a carefully designed filtration system that creates a healthy environment for the plants, fish and beneficial bacteria.

You will need to drill holes, glue PVC and cut pipe and lumber .

Electrical and water requirements:
You need a continuous supply of electricity and a source of fresh, de-chlorinated water.

Not included:
Cost does not include optional equipment, freight, installation or sales tax.  Some materials, such as lumber, cement blocks, PVC glue, lengths of PVC pipe need to be purchased locally.
